In October 2006, Castlereagh Management took over the running of a Grade II listed building consisting of 32 extremely upmarket flats in South Kensington. Due to the prestige of these flats, the owners expected a very high level of service. However, at no time during the eight years since the buildings were developed had the communal air-conditioning system worked properly. We were told that a number of contractors tried and failed to sort this out – the problems were complex, and no proper schematics existed for the system.
“Finally, one of the residents recommended Barry Fisk at Climate Control (South East) Ltd. We have been very impressed by his logical approach and his tenacity. Other contractors just walked away when the going got tough, but Barry persevered until the job was done, taking the time and trouble to get to the heart of the problems and solving them once and for all. It is now working 99%, and I know Barry will not be satisfied until it is 100%. Our approach to property management is very hands-on and pro-active, and we expect a similar attitude from our contractors. Barry understands this, and has an excellent rapport with our clients, even when working under considerable pressure. I think the work he has done for us is brilliant!
